Arnis Līcītis dzimis 1946. gadā Rīgā. Viņa vecāki arī bija aktieri – tēvs Alfrēds Videnieks, mamma – Helga Līcīte.
Arnis bijis aktieris Drāmas teātrī, Valmieras teātrī, Jaunatnes un Krievu drāmas teātros. “Rīgas Kinostudijas” filmās sāka filmēties no 1965.gada, vēlākos gados filmējās arī krievu kino un seriālos.
Kopumā nofilmējies aptuveni 150 filmās un seriālos.
