Ģimenes tuva draudzene Veronika Kasa pastāstīja par Milas un Bogdana nāvi. “Vienā sekundē mēs tevi pazaudējām… Mana dārgā un mīļā meitene! Tu gaidīji bērniņu, un dzīve tikai sākās… Krievijai nav piedošanas! Trūkst vārdu, lai izteiktu visas izjūtas pret Krievijas varu, kas izdod šādus rīkojumus! Tās ir sāpes un zaudējumi, ko nevar kompensēt ne ar ko un nekad!”, – viņa rakstīja.
Arī jaunā pāra kaimiņiene Olga Samara komentēja to briesmīgo postu, ko mājā radījusi krievu raķete. Kad viņa publicēja ierakstu soctīklos, neviens nezināja, ka Milas un Bogdana vairs nav. “Diemžēl ir cietušie un ievainotie. Nav mūsu draugu dzīvokļa, tur ir caurums, ar viņiem nav nekādu sakaru. Mēs lūdzam, lai viņi tajā brīdī vienkārši izgāja pastaigāties. Mila / Bogdans,” Olga rakstīja 24.
