Sestdien, 23.aprīlī, Ukrainas prezidents Volodimirs Zelenskis sasaucis preses konferenci ar vietējiem un ārvalstu žurnālistiem Kijivas metro stacijā.
Preses konference tiešraidē tika pārraidīta televīzijā un interneta vietnēs.

Zelenskis Kijivas metro stacijā atbildēja uz žurnālistu uzdotajiem jautājumiem, runājot par sarunu iespējamību ar agresorvalsts Krievijas prezidentu Vladimiru Putinu, viņa bailēm par karu Ukrainā, gaidāmo tikšanos ar ASV valsts sekretāru Entoniju Blinkenu, okupantu plānoto pseidoreferendumu Hersonā un citiem tematiem.
Īpaši emocionāls Ukrainas prezidents kļuva, komentējot šīs dienas okupantu uzbrukumu Odesai.
